Packer Data Import/ Transfer Services
MetaFarms i-Production software allows users to ‘import’ their carcass/sales data
and apply them directly to the group closeout. Imagine running a report and being
able to see exactly how many lights, heavies and in target pigs were shipped? How
much more money could you be making by being able to make better business decisions?
How well do you understand your packer’s matrix and how easy for you is it to figure
out what market weight gets you the best price for a load? To do this, you have
to track and measure your kill data on an individual head basis. Using our Sales
Manager and importing your detailed packer data with one push of the ENTER key you’ll
get a report that tells you exactly what you need to know and how to get $3- $4
more per pig on each load you sell.
How it works? Your packer sends you a file containing all the detailed carcass information.
You simply save that file on your local computer and upload/import it into i-Production.
Once the data is there you can then assign those carcass lots/loads to your active
group(s).
How much does this feature cost? Packer data importing is an optional service available
to you. The cost is based on your monthly carcass volume.
Importing you data will save you time. Time is money. Your data will also be more
