Report Manager
Report Manager provides a reporting services solution to our existing customer base.
Customers have been asking us to give them the ability to customize reports for
themselves. Report Manager offers the ability for customer to create customized
report layouts for our reports. It also allows them other features such as scheduling
and email delivery options. The customer selects the desired report when needed
and can conveniently view and print the report. Reports Manager gives you the confidence
of “never forgetting” to run reports and the convenience and time savings of running
multiple reports and distributing to multiple groups automatically.
Report Manager is a ‘premium’ service that allows users to:
Customize Reporting – users will be able to specify what columns or rows they would
like to see on a report, have the ability to hide a given sheet in the spreadsheet,
change the page orientation, or change the margins. They can have as many versions
of the same report as is needed.
Report Scheduling – users will be able to define when they want the report. Reports
that are run regularly can be scheduled to run and will be available for viewing
without any intervention. Reports may be run daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly,
annually or on a specific day. In addition, reports that are processor intensive
can be scheduled off-hours and will be ready on the next business day.
Email Delivery of Reports – users can request any report to be emailed to an individual
or to a group of individuals. A link to the report will appear in the e-mailbox
immediately after it has been run. The customer can click the link to view the report.
If user is not already logged in, they will be asked to enter their user ID and
password; the report will then be displayed.
How have our customers been using Reports
Manager?
A Vet can schedule reports he uses for customer analysis to run automatically on
Sunday afternoons so when he starts his Sunday evening data analysis all reports
are run and ready for review.
Customer will schedule to e-mail all Sow Action Lists and Sow Performance Monitors
to Sow Units each Monday morning before they start the work week.
Customer will e-mail Sow Cards to the Sow Units after data entry is completed.
Uses ‘Run Immediate” option with scheduled report and e-mail distribution list.
Customer will e-mail monthly sales reports after month is closed to Vet, Consultants
and others.
Customer will schedule ‘Mark by Users’ to receive Kill Sheet Summary reports
with graphs to show how last load met targets at packer after packer data is imported.
Customer will schedule to deliver a packet of reports each week for review by
supervisors of sow and finish units.
Customer will schedule to deliver Data Integrity reports for review by data entry
staff on last week’s work.
